What You'll Learn

Imagine you are white water rafting. Every person on that raft needs great communication, collaboration, and trust to row in the same direction at the same cadence, ensuring the safety and direction of the team. In the same way, a team in the workplace needs to practice excellent communication, collaboration, and trust so when the pressure is on and the rapids come, the members on the team lean in and paddle together, rather than becoming fed up and potentially capsizing the team.

You may have heard the fact that between 70-80% of people leave their job because of their direct supervisor. What about everyone else in the room? What about the team? How much does the cohesion or culture of the team impact engagement and retention?

While team development can often be perceived as a nice “add-on”, the case will be made in this webinar, that team development is a critical and non-negotiable factor in the engagement and retention of your employees.

During this webinar attendees will learn key behaviors to engage and retain employees by:
  • Identifying needed areas of team development.
  • Evaluating current processes of team development.
  • Implementing four team development activities.
