What Does an Executive Leadership Training Look Like?
Frontline recently partnered with the executive team of a $1 billion heavy-duty manufacturer to facilitate workshops that helped their team align on the most important leadership behaviors. The entire structure and objectives of the engagement were built from the ground up based on the client’s specific challenges and goals.
We partnered with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Transformation Officer, and Vice President of People Operations to design a series of seven, two-hour interactive learning sessions for their 10-person executive team. Each executive leader also participated in an assessment process that highlighted their natural leadership capabilities and potential blind spots.
The series resulted in the creation of a leadership competency model that will be rolled out to the entire organization. During the sessions, the executive team was exposed to core leadership models and concepts that supported the competencies we identified. The team was challenged to reflect on their own leadership journey and the opportunities that can be created once the leadership competencies are communicated broadly.
The sessions were designed to empower the executive leadership team to create a leadership model for their organization that will build momentum and buy-in for future change management. This ensures the overall leadership approach, and associated models and concepts, will drive organizational and operational success going forward.
