What You'll Learn
A seismic shift is underway in the American workforce. Over 30 million Baby Boomers are expected to reach retirement age by 2030, with nearly 10,000 retiring each day. As experienced employees exit the workforce, they take with them decades of institutional knowledge, leadership, and technical expertise—creating a growing skills gap that organizations can no longer afford to ignore.
While a softening labor market has made job applications more plentiful for employers, filling key roles with the right talent and the right skills will continue to be a challenge as the pool of qualified candidates narrows. The need for intentional upskilling and knowledge transfer has never been greater. As we look toward the future, employers need to create the systems to grow the talent they need from within. But here’s the good news: there’s a way forward—and it’s more within your reach than you might think.
In this live, solutions-focused conversation, Janis Petrini, Co-Owner and Founder of Frontline Training Solutions, and Kevin Stotts, President of TalentFirst, will unpack best practices and actionable strategies for employers to build a future-ready workforce. Together, they’ll explore:
- What the latest workforce trends mean for your business in 2025 and beyond
- The real impact of retirements on organizational knowledge—and how to prepare
- Strategies for retaining key talent while upskilling future leaders
- Why knowledge transfer isn’t just a best practice, but a competitive advantage
- A preview of tools and approaches to help you move from reactive to proactive
Whether you’re leading a team, managing organizational development, or guiding workforce strategy, this session is designed to spark new thinking, offer tangible next steps, and inspire confidence about what’s ahead.
